Run for VT House

Today, I am announcing my candidacy for the Vermont House of Representatives.
I’m running because I love this community. I love our back roads, our school concerts and youth sports, our town meetings, and the way people here still look each other in the eye and help when help is needed. This isn’t just where we live, it’s home.
I’m running because rural Vermont deserves a strong local voice at the State House. Too many decisions are being made by politicians who don’t live in our towns and don’t live with the consequences. Folks who don’t drive our roads, experience our crime, depend on our schools, or make a living from the land.
I believe state government should live within its means, respect taxpayers, and stop pushing one-size-fits-all policies that make it harder to live, work, and run a business in Vermont communities.
I will work to rein in government spending, advocate for a safer community for our children, push back against mandates that hurt small towns, defend private property rights, and support farmers, and local small businesses—the backbone of our rural economy. I stand in support of our Police, Fire and Rescue to assist and protect our communities. I will stand up for policies that are practical, affordable, and rooted in Vermont values, not political ideology.
This campaign is about accountability. It’s about making sure rural Vermonters have a representative who will speak plainly, vote independently, and put our communities first—not party leadership, not special interests, and not Montpelier bureaucracy.
I’m asking for the support of all voters who believe it’s time to draw a clear line: for responsible government, for communities, and for keeping Vermont a place where hard work is respected and local voices matter.
I would be honored to receive your support and your vote for the Vermont House of Representatives.
