As a surgeon in our community, I know that a successful practice is built on more than just medical expertise- it is built on the integrity and dedication who represent it every day. I had the privilege of working with Nick Dilorenzo as my medical assistant in our surgical practice

and I can say without hesitation

that he was one of the finest professionals I have ever worked with.

In our office, Nick was the first point of contact for patients facing difficult and sometimes life altering decisions. I watched firsthand as Nick handled every situation with empathy, kindness and a relentless work ethic. He cared deeply for our patients, ensuring that they were heard and supported throughout their care.

Trust is very important in medicine and Nick earned mine completely. He is a straight shooter, a hard worker and was extremely well liked by our staff and every patient he encountered. He was someone I could depend on to do the right thing, even on long and challenging days.

I saw that in his announcement for the Vermont State House representative, Nick spoke about the need for a representative who can “speak plainly” and put our communities first. Having worked side by side with Nick, I know that these are not just slogans- that is exactly who Nick is. He is the kind of guy who will find practical solutions and will be committed to helping his neighbors. I am confident he will not be led by political ideology but rather by his moral compass and pragmatic nature.

Our rural towns need a voice this is rooted in values of hard work and accountability. Nick lived those values every day in my office. He has earned my trust and support.
