Meet Nicholas

For those of you I haven’t met yet, my name is Nicholas DiLorenzo, and I’m running for the Vermont House of Representatives because I believe our rural communities deserve a stronger voice in Montpelier.

Like many of you, I love this part of Vermont. We look out for our neighbors. We value hard work. And we believe that if you live within your means, government should too.

Right now, too many Vermonters are feeling squeezed. Property taxes are rising faster than incomes. Housing is harder to find. Energy costs are going up. And decisions made in Montpelier often feel disconnected from the realities of small towns and rural life.

Why I’m Running

I’m not running to make headlines.  I’m running to do the work.

I believe:

  • Government should live within its means

  • Local voices matter

  • Common sense should come before politics

As your representative, I will listen first, work across the aisle, and always put the interests of our community ahead of party or ideology.

What I Believe...

An Affordable Vermont

Vermont is too expensive for the average working Vermonter!  We need common-sense government spending and lower taxes.

Safe Communities for Our Kids

Drugs, theft, and serious crime once were rare in Vermont.  The public deserves strong law enforcement and better accountability from the  courts.

Real Education

Our school spending is one of the highest in the country, yet achievement continues to fall.  We need to teach fundamentals in our schools, and move past the woke ideologies of recent years.

Growth For All

Suffocating regulations and costs hurt small businesses which are the foundation of our economy.  Economic growth means good paying jobs for our children so they can afford to stay Vermont.
